i have been doing crazy t-shirt surgery all day. i've done three shirts so far: my ryan howard shirt, a shirt i had that is blue and covered with a written-music print all over, and a pink gingham button-down that i am still figuring out what to do with. i need to pick up a needle and thread tomorrow to finish the last one, but the first two are done. oh man: i was just thinking about how i need to go summer shopping--especially for AUSTIN--and looking on etsy and wishing i had cute clothes, and BAM! three awesome cute new halter tops.

WIN.
i now want to take regular crafting classes or something. crafting-to-make-clothes. something to 1) make me spend less money 2) give me a hobby and 3) give me awesome, adorable, custom-made clothes that no other bitches have.
does anyone know where they have that sort of thing?
notice the cute '50's-style ties at the top! this was so, so easy to make.
i feel like it's cut kind of weird, and i might make the halter tighter, but it is so adorable. i also think i am going to add buttons or a fabric cut-out or something to jazz it up.
MY BOY RYAN, in shirt form. it's actually pretty flattering, if i wasn't wearing this gross $4 old navy red denim skirt.
the shoulder ties--currently being held with cashmere yarn in phillies blue 'til i get some ribbon.
