What I did on my winter break.
Winter break was a good break! Had a week off both works because my Mom took a week off (And I work under her.) and that the library didn't need me for a week. What notable things occured? Let's see!
I went to Ed's "back in town" party. Played some Apples to Apples, and did very well. I made several horrible jokes with the cards, and I think that is the measure of true success! I even drove to this party. In a car even! Amazing!
After that I got a call from Gene. (You may have met him at Archon.) Him and my Ex's best friend's Ex are always on to trying to invite me to stuff, but always at the last second and on game nights. Well, I actually could do something this night for once, so I figured I better go! The quest was lights at the AB brewery. It was nice and all bread smelling. Then they said that a party was to be had with booze and Wii. Normally, I'm not a crazy party person (I get sleepy with booze) but a Wii sounded fun. So we got fancy weird booze and went to the party. And it was good. And the house was roomy. And furious Wii contoller wanking was had by all! (We played alot of Rayman. A great lot of the games involve a shaking motion of the controller, deemed "wanking" by the game players.) Regardless, I can say with great personal authority now that the Wii is indeed a blast. The Legends were true!
And that was just one day! Pre-Christmas! I must go do work type things now, soI will continue my epic tale later!
