Alright, lets see. Work. I worked from 8:30am to 7:00pm last night, mostly because I ended up helping Chase (my roommate) so we could go to dinner, which the food was good, the wine was REALLY bad!!! So after that we came home and got ready to go, lets just say I haven't put on make-up for awhile and thought I put to much on when I haden't I was highly amused!!!
Well anyways we went to this hotel where some of Chase's friends from home are staying and we were there for maybe .2 before heading to Jamenson's a bar, that was too loud, with lots of creppy people!! CREPPY PEOPLE! Anyways it took for ever to get a drink because the place only had one bar tender on a Friday night, and the poor bloke looked really stressed, hell I would have been too. So back to the bloody point: Jesse, cute guy scared me the first time I meet him, clear attraction between us, Chase, and her friend Rachel both say he fancies me, well me being me have always thought he was cute, and slightly had a small crush on him. So here comes the problem, one of Chase's friends roommates from school finds Jesse hot, blah blah blah, and likes him. So she is more up front and more 'let me toss myself at you' type girl. While I'm the type to go 'hey look baseball, why do people like baseball, let me figure this out' and space out while watching sports center to try and figure this crazy idea of baseball out! Ok back to the point, I of course text Tam and Jenny, my go-to-girls for help when I need a little bit of confidence and just a shove telling me that it really is going to be alright! So while I am texting them Chase comes back over asks what I am doing, I finally tell her that I kind of like her mate Jesse, and she goes "WHY HAVEN'T YOU SAID SOMETHING" and then it was into the advice again which was really nice, but well then these came over and jumped in on the conversation, and then they started to give me advice of "hell don't change you'll hold the power over him, you are the mystery, sure this girl has more guts in tossing herself at him, but if you caught his attention over a month ago and still have it, he'll totally go for you if he knew he had a shot. But see you have this 'I can take care of myself' vibe which totally scares guys. It's like you could walk out of here right now alone and take the subway home alone.' Ok which I could, and have done that before.
So at the end Chase and I decide to leave, I catch site of Jesse and this other girl talking at the bar, so I walked over to say bye to him, which Chase didn't mind. But as small as it is, he gave me a hug and a kiss on the check, and just gave his close friend from highschool (Chase) a high five. The girl looked sooooo mad at me. She knew I heard her say that she finds him attractive, but what she didn't know is that I've kind of thought him good for over a month now.... hmmmm.....
