You know it only took me a couple of months to recreate Romeo and juliet. One sight in the beginning that led to a love. but here comes the first death. Kelsea is leaving. I dont know what it will be like once she is gone. yea yea i know ill get better and i know you will tell it will, but i dont want it to. i want there to be a pain in my heart cause she is gone. i told once ill say it again. i love her.
I want to say so much but i dont know how... i feel... like i acomplished something. to the nicest way possible i lived out a dream, in a way. its ironic. i told everyone my favorite song of all time was Jessie's girl, (and if anyone knows me they know where im going with this) and my teacher played it and when i told him he asked if i was in love with someones girl and i said no. then it happened.
there was obstacal between kelsea and i but im glad we got thru it. we knew nothing could stop us if we could get thru those. but she is leaving. her friend put it like this. "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened." and she is right.
Kelsea and i said our song it "ocean Avenue," but in my heart it will only be one...
Jessie is a friend, yeah, I know he's been a good friend of mine
But lately something's changed that ain't hard to define
Jessie's got himself a girl and I want to make her mine
And she's watching him with those eyes
And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it
Yeah 'n' he's holding her in his arms late, late at night
Chorus:
You know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman like that
I play along with the charade, there doesn't seem to be a reason to change
You know, I feel so dirty when they start talking cute
I wanna tell her that I love her, but the point is probably moot
'Cos she's watching him with those eyes
And she's lovin' him with that body, I just know it
And he's holding her in his arms late, late at night
chorus
Like Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl
Where can I find a woman, where can I find a woman like that
And I'm lookin' in the mirror all the time, wondering what she don't see in me
I've been funny, I've been cool with the lines
Ain't that the way love supposed to be
Tell me, where can I find a woman like that
(Solo)
you know, I wish that I had Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl
I want Jessie's girl, where can I find a woman like that, like
Jessie's girl, I wish that I had Jessie's girl, I want, I want Jessie's girl
