I haven't updated in a while. Oh well, whatever.
I'm tired of honors physics. I'm tired of having to teach myself everything. That is the life of a student in honors physics. The teacher doesn't teach, he only derives formulas and asks dumb clicker questions. We don't learn any problem solving techniques so the homework is simply a bitch. On one of the online hw problems, I resorted to guessing numbers (we get unlimited guesses). One actually worked. I got lucky this time. Next time it won't be so good.
But perhaps in a stroke of Terrell Owens pride, I choose to remain in the honors sequence. It must be the fact that I've always taken honors classes whenever possible. I don't know how far that's going to get me. What's the diff between honors and non-honors in my major? None. I actually think I'd be learning more in regular physics, plus I'd have more of a net to catch me when I was stuck. But I'm not going to transfer, because it's too late for that. Instead, me and Jessica will just stick it out for the entire year and just check it off our major requirements at the end. Right, Jessica?
In other news, I picked up an Owens jersey for 50% off today. Since he got kicked off the Eagles, there's a fire sale on all his equipment. I figured, why not capitalize? My opinion on the whole Owens thing is that the Eagles are gonna miss out on one hell of a player this year. Sure Owens messed up, but cutting him will not equal wins (though it will equal team unity and less distractions). I don't think the Eagles are gonna make the playoffs without him. This is a no-risk statement, because if I'm right, then I'm right, but if I'm wrong, we're in the playoffs, so it's still good for me. Either way I will still be an Eagles fan, because you don't bail on a team just because they've hit hard times. McNabb and the rest of the crew will pick it up eventually, it could be sooner or later. Who knows?
I'm stoked for tomorrow because it's the Rob/Anna concert! I've been waiting for this for a couple of months now. I'll try to sneak a camera in covertly and post pics on Thursday or Friday.
