am i that far behind?
today, in a spurt of productiveness, i decided to get the oil changed on my car. all went well, and when the car was ready, i paid the attendant. i thanked him and then he said to me, "no problem. you have a nice day tomorrow" normally this would be a little weird -- especially since you normally are told to have a nice day or rest of the day and i was puzzled for about 10 seconds -- UNTIL i realized what he meant by tomorrow......mothers day. i cannot figure if i was having a particularly old-looking day, or if people really think that 24 is an age where a woman should already be a mother. either way i was weirded out a bit.
