В городе на рекламных щитах: Вежливого водителя заметно на дороге - и контур машины, выложенный из цветочков. И игрушечная девочка с цветочком. Прежде, чем я успел подумать, почему я хочу, чтобы меня было заметно на дороге, и помогает ли этому вежливость, вспомнилась военная классика: "Будет плохо - нарисуй цветочек"*
The billboards now say: A polite driver is well visible on the road - and a simplified drawing of a car, made up of flowers. And a toy little girl with a flower. Before I could think why I want really to be well visible on the road and if being polite helps it, it reminded me of a WWII classic message: "If the things turn bad, draw a little flower"*

The story is of a young girl deported by the nazis. She managed to fool their censorship in her letter by using her mother's instruction: "If the things turn bad, draw a little flower".
