(Этот вид недавно отделили от Золотогрудого бюльбюля (Pycnonotus melanicterus))
Это я в воскресенье съездил на уже упоминавшиеся высота Кхао-Майкэо, только не со стороны рекреационного парка, а с той стороны, где ват, то есть ближней к нам. Лес тут в значительной степени состоит из сорной акации, точнее альбиции, которой обычно зарастают пустыри, но здесь она уже частично доросла до своего предела и упала, образуя бурелом с густыми зарослями. Соответственно птицы есть, но видимость затруднена, наводка на резкость тем более. Куст с ягодами выручил.

This is from my Sunday walk in the Khao Maikaeo hills, already mentioned. This time enterd the forest not from the recreation park side, but from the side of the wat. The forest here largely consists of the pest albizia, which usually overgrows abandoned lots, but here it is grown to its limit and in part fell to the ground giving light and support to fresh greenery, difficult to penetrate. Thus, there are birds, but the visibility is limited, and focusing even more limited. A bush with berries helped a lot.
И еще одна птичка, показавшаяся из бурелома, чтобы покормиться на том же кусте - Черногорлая славка-портниха ( Orthotomus atrogularis).
One more bird which came out of the jungle to feed on the berries: Dark-necked Tailorbird ( Orthotomus atrogularis).
Среди леса есть небольшая слегка подзапущенная, но не заброшенная каучуковая плантация.
There is a small lightly overgrown, but not abandoned rubber plantation inside the forest .
Так выглядят тропинки в этой части леса. Среди зелени слева, если присмотреться, можно увидеть стандартные бетонные столбики ограды из колючей проволоки вокруг территории вата. Она давно не ремонтировалась и отсутствует там, где проволоку порвало или столб уронило какое-нибудь упавшее дерево.
This is how some of the trails here look. In the greenery on the left, if you look carefully, you can notice the cement posts of the barbed wire fence arount the wat territory. The fence is old and in part broken by fallen trees.
За оградой, помимо бурелома, - огромный прямоугольный пруд.
Besides the jungle, there is a big rectangular pond behind the fence.
У пруда надпись: "Запрещается выпускать водных животных в пруд".
The sign reads: Forbidden to release aquatic animals into the pond.
Теперь надо будет пройти лес насквозь.
