(no subject)
so God is awesome! tonight i was just overwhelmed with emotion at how many prayers God answers! there were definitely 34 people at prayer tonight which is shocking considering it is the end of the semester and usually people get apathetic. but not this group! nuh uh!! there is no stopping this ministry and the power that God is displaying in it.
also, we had two new guys tonight. garrett and john. and it is funny because the other night, i realized that i had stopped praying for God to send more males to our group. no, i am not on the hunt for a husband, i just want to see the guys ministry continue to grow and be blessed and raise up leaders for the church. and sure enough, not even a week after i started praying that, in walk two c of c'ers! how cool is God? and one of them, garrett, is definitely from harding so he knows a bunch of my friends.
also, just my love for this ministry is so big. it truly has changed my life in so many ways. God truly provided for me when i was searching for Him. and he has blessed me so richly with awesome friends, godly roommates, and life to the full.
anyhow, i am just very full of praise right now. we try so hard to limit God to time or space or ability. but he truly is so much bigger and greater than we will ever know.
"now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than we could ask or imagine, according to his awesome power." Ephesians 3:20
