ENCOURAGE- to inspire with spirit and confidence, to stimulate by guidance and/or approval, to promote or foster positive behavior
in my quest to live like Jesus did, I ought to always be encouraging those around me. I am sarcastic by nature, most of my close friends are as well. so it makes it so easy to get carried away when everyone is teasing. and then someones feelings are hurt, tonight they were mine, and it has gone too far.
i think that if jesus were with us he would INSPIRE US WITH SPIRIT AND CONFIDENCE. we should always be looking for ways to promote positives in each other.
i love my friends and i love a good joke, but where is the line between joking and tearing each other down.
we must build each other up so that we may be strong in our faith and our love for each other and for our Father. we have the potential to show the world how much we love Jesus by how much we love each other. and the way to do that is to encourage.
"by this all men will know that you are my disciples, that you love one another." john 13:35
