wow. I haven't updated in a while.
I'm really tempted to leave the entry at that, but I suppose I can provide some information on what little has been going on around here.
I'm taking organic and I only have one week left!! and I'm actually doing well (I think there's some time/space/reality paradox that is the source of doing well, I only hope it holds out until the exam). I officially had my last chemistry lab EVER yesterday, which was really a remarkably easy lab final.
My life, currently (and at least until august 18th or so), consists of class and work and sleep and working out(I'll try not to impress you all by how much I can now dumb-bell curl; needless to say-dyke). I have to have a poster and paper ready to present by August 18th when everyone leaves for Russia. Not me, not this year, too much to do :-(
August 18th, my baby sister moves away to Oxford, MI to start her big new life at college. I feel very old to think that I'm a junior now.
I recently finished my interview with my pre-medical advisor, who has made me feel pretty good about medical school, so maybe I can stop freaking out right now. Although, I do have to butter up/sleep with 4 or 5 professors to gain letters of recommendation. I also start classes on August 18th to an invigorating semester of physics, biochemistry and 2 geology classes (yay!), after which I can start panic-studying for the MCAT that I will be taking in April.
Susan is coming up today to have her ass KILLED in tennis! ;-) (sorry, had to get that one in there)
Saturday, I'll be in atlanta for two friends' commitment ceremony at the zoo. yes, by the monkey's. Then I'm hopefully going to see Ben Fold's downtown with all you atl peeps who are cool like that. And then keisa and I are staying with my parents, at my house. I get to come back to Athens Sunday to study, move into my new place and go to the last day of class on Monday, after which I will be driving back to atlanta to studying furiously for 2 days and then come back, take my final at 8 am on friday, finish moving into my new place and see what else unfolds. Then I'm working like hell for the 2 weeks before school starts again. Oh, this summer has been great.
Now, I'm slightly depressed and overwhelmed by what I have to do, so I'm going back to work and then going home before Susan arrives and can see me wearing the skirt I wore to the interview today. Enjoy your day.
The sun is going to fry us all alive!
that is all.
