(no subject)
So....I haven't updated in a while.
I'm back in Athens now. Living in an apartment not too far from my old dorm. The cat who lives there is neurotic. My new roomate broke up with her boyfriend a few days ago and has evidently gotten drunk every night since then. We have a case of Miller Light in the fridge.
So...for party plans...or drunken scrabble plans, whichever you prefer, my roomate leaves this saturday for 10 days because her mother has to have surgery, so I'll have the apartment to myself over memorial day weekend, which looks like when we can do things, if it works out for everyone else. Probably going to be BYO-beer/liquor or whatever, or everyone who's going to drink pays me and I'll have one of my friends up here go get things. Speaking of which, Joseph, I know you don't mind buying minors alcohol... ;-)
Until then, come visit!! Or will some of my Athenian friends come visit! You call me complaining that there's no one in Athens, and then don't call when I am here. I feel the love ::sniff sniff:: Anyway, I actually got up this morning, so I'm in the lab waiting, waiting, waiting....and no one is here...
Off to fill out paperwork for Russia...
Here're directions if anyone wants to come visit, although I'd really rather you called first seeing as how I most likely won't be there:

Get off at LOOP 10 (the LOOP aspect is very important) headed EAST
Exit at the College Station Rd. Exit.
Turn LEFT onto College Station Rd.
At your second light, turn RIGHT onto East Campus Rd.
At your first light, turn LEFT onto Carlton St.
When Carlton St. dead ends, turn LEFT onto S. Lumpkin St.
Go past Kabobs (big yellow sign), turn LEFT onto Woodrow St. (if you reach Milledge Ave, you've gone too far)
Make an immediate LEFT into the apartment complex there.
Follow the parking lot all the way back. My apartment number is 411.
And Kevin still isn't here....

For the sake of saving the sanity of whatever readers I have, I will end this before I start ranting and raving out of boredom :-)
