Hello to all. I hope everyone is enjoying their long weekend and did well on all of their exams. :)

So yesterday was my lovely surgery. And was quite an interesting day. For those who don't know what all had to be done, here is a brief summary. First I had to get my 4 wisdom teeth out. But also, I was born without 4 adult teeth in the back of my mouth, so they needed to start the process of giving me implants in those areas so they drilled screws in the gum. And the 2 spaces at the top of my mouth were very close to my sinus sacks so they had to lift those and put some bone in the areas to support the screws. And that's what I had to get done. Anyways...

I woke up at 6:45 and left at about 7:20 for the oral surgeon. Then the fun began. They hooked me up to all of the fun machines and then put me to sleep. I woke up feeling very weak and in a bit of some pain. They put me in a recovery room with my mom to watch a little video on how to take care of my mouth during recovery and all that fun stuff. Then finally my mom and I left to go pick up my pain pills from walgreens. We had to wait there for like 20 min in the car for them to be ready. Then we came home. I went to the bathroom to take the disgusting gauze out of my mouth so that I could have something before i took my pain pill cuz i hadnt eaten in like 15 hrs and couldnt take it on an empty stomach. SO i go into the kitchen and my mom gives me some chocolate milk to drink. And as I stand over the sink to drink it i started feeling SUPER woozy and told my mom i felt like i was going to pass out. Then I DID pass out. I woke up not knowing where I was or what was going on and it was really freaky. My mom ended up calling 911 cause apparently I was deathly white, my eyes rolled back, and i started shaking. But to make a long story short, the paramedics came, and said that it was because of the fact that I had so much done in one day, that i hadnt eaten in so long/dehydrated, and that i was put under anestethics (what makes u sleep during surgery) for a long 3.5 hours, was why i passed out; and apparently my blood sugar was lower than normal too. But, the surgery DID go well, I'm feeling stronger today, and Gaby and Shivani came to see me for about 45 min last night so that made me happy too. Hopefully I'll be back to normal by tuesday :)

I hope EVERYONE enjoys their weekend!!!!! Lots of love!!!!
