Seriously, totally forgot! :( I missed you guys too!
Lets see what is up in my life?
I HATE my job. HATE it. I made a HORRIBLE decision and went back to work for a place I worked at when I first moved back here. It was stupid and I am regretting it now. Hopefully, Brian is looking into transferring his GI bill to me so I can go back to school. I am going to get my BSN. I figure with that I can look into some other areas of nursing and get out of the office setting and hopefully away from generalized laziness and stupidity. I would love to review charts. *sigh*
Brian has a new job he loves. (Must be nice, huh?) He works for the National Guard...technically and I quote here...a Federal Technician working for the USPFO MI (United States Property Fiscal Office for the state of Michigan). He likes to make it sound all important and everything. ;) He works in Lansing, which is a good 2 1/2 hours from us. :( But He drives about an hour and catches a carpool van. I'm not sure about moving yet. I love where I live, and my house, and my neighbors. But it is kind of ridiculous to have him drive that for the next 20 some odd years. With the economy sucking ass in Michigan there is no telling if we would be able to sell our house and not lose our asses on it.
The kids are doing well. Kailynn has moved up to second chair with her Trumpet (ooooOOOOoooo lol I guess this is a big deal?) She actually does pretty well considering she picked it up in what? September? for the first time and never played a musical instrument before. She did win a scholarship to band camp at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp...but it was for $425 and the camp costs something like $1200. For 2 weeks!! Yeah, I just can't pay $800 or more dollars for camp for a 5th grader who just started. :( I felt like it was just a ploy to get parents to pay $$$$$$$. Like a scam.
