So a friend of mine is a very serious 7th Day Adventist.
Now I may not agree with everything that their family believes in, but they are good people and that's all I care about. I could care less what your religion is as long as you are a decent person.
Tonight her husband posted about this article
www.grandhaventribune.com/paid/306371303507687.bsp about a local church changing their affiliation and opening their doors to all religions. Call me a fool but I thought....well....that's cool. I'm all for people of different religions coming together as one and for a common good. Isn't that what religion should be about? Coming together for the greater good? Yeah, you would think. Instead they think its awful. That different religions should not be in the same church. That you cannot worship with different religions. THIS. is why I don't go to church.
I don't care if you twirl chickens, believe in the bible, don't believe in the bible, whatever! As long as you are a decent human being, help others, live by the golden rule, don't rape-molest-murder-steal, then you can hail Bhudda, or Ronald McDonald for all I care!
Correct me if I am wrong, but weren't Jews mass murdered because it was thought THEIR religion was wrong? Was that ok? Maybe we should mass murder the 7th Day Adventist.
I am so mad. >:[
