I know you give me sanctuary...
This weekend was a fun one!
Friday some of us were going to go canoeing but it was cloudy and cold, so we didn't. We did have a class BBQ/pool party though. That was fun to hang out with everyone outside of the Health Professions Building. No one swam except for the little kids really because it was cold. Had some beers and jello shots and stuff, very fun. Afterwards, Heather, Lacey, Aaron, and I all went out and had some more beers and just had a good time. Lacey is the one who lives in Midland with her husband, so she and I will be able to carpool in the fall.
Saturday I finally got to sleep in then I headed to EL for Tasty Twist with Annika and to spend time with Chris. He and I did what we always do, which is run random errands and stuff like that. We watched Hitch too, very cute. I missed him so much, so it was good to spend time together.
Sunday Chris and I went to church then bummed around some more. He talked me in to staying until Monday, so I attempted to study, but didn't get nearly enough done. I really like going to EL because it's like an escape back to something familiar.
Today I was conned in to skipping class by Lacey and Heather which was really bad. At least we are in it together though. I might be moving out of this awful dorm for the second half of summer if I can get a refund. Heather has an extra room in her apartment until the fall, so keep your fingers crossed.
I have 3 exams coming up: History and Physical on Wednesday (which is also my Mom's birthday), Anatomy on Monday (kill me now), and Infectious Disease the following Thursday (UTIs, STDs, and URIs, oh my!). Needless to say I will be extremely busy so sorry for the lack of communication. Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer so far! Six more weeks of classes until my break...I can do this...
