We're going to Orlando!!!!
I'm going to Orlando during spring break!!!! the Mena LMP team successfully won at state competition. i had the BEST time. jesse and i agreed that we like each other but since we are going to this contest then it would be best not to date for a while and just get to know each other better. i finally broke the silence and told him how i felt. the trip was a lot of fun. the only other school competiting against us was Hot Springs. they had only 1 white guy and 1 black girl and 2 black guys. i kept trying to wink and flirt with the white guy but that didnt seem to work. he definately had that nerd appearance and looked nervous the whole time. their teacher was a skank. she was so rude and walked around like she knew everything...which she didnt. how the heck did we beat their team if she knew everything. hahahahahahaha...well we went to the peabody and watched the ducks leave the lobby on the red carpet. we walked around there for a while then we walked down the rivermarket and went to eat at a place called the "flying fish". that was DELICIOUS!! best seafood i've had in a long time. our awards banquet was at the Hilton hotel...which is nice but not nearly as nice as the peabody. then we won our title and came home. good trip...lots of fun....my feet were killing me in those heels. now we have only 3 weeks till nationals. a lot of fundraising and a lot of studying. our goal is to go and not make an idiot of ourselves. well i think i'm going to go get ready for church. today is a bad day in our family cause its been one year since my grandpa died. a year ago today...my life changed drastically. not a day goes by that i dont think about him or miss him. well ta ta for now. love yall,
