On those days, Megan calls her daughter several times, which annoys, Lacey, but she doesn’t care. She just needs a family member to talk to, and she doesn’t want to bother her mother.
Megan doesn’t want to appear weak to anyone, and she knows she will be if they know what’s going on inside her mind sometimes.
She’s going to deal with this private hell on her own.
