For the first time in a long time, Jerry and Theresa are alone. Justin and Alex moved out a long time ago. Max just started college.
“Baby, isn’t it nice being alone?” Jerry asks his wife, smiling. Being this alone with her for the first time in over twenty years is really nice.
Theresa laughs. “Yes, it is.” She leans over and kisses her husband.
“I love you so much, Theresa” Jerry whispers. He can’t imagine his life without her.
“I love you too, Jerry.” Theresa has never loved anyone the way she loves him.
The Russos are happy together.
