I decided to bike to work, this morning, because I was up early. I used to bike to work in the early morning about 2 times a week. Something about seeing the stars while zipping along in the dark that is satisfying. I rode the recumbent, this time. The upright gets uncomfortable because Jocelyn's seat rests between the handle bars and the saddle. As much as I enjoy transporting her in it, riding with the legs slightly spread is hard on the butt, after a while.
I noticed that the construction signs on this one part of the bike path had been moved aside. I thought it meant that the construction was finished and somebody had to pick up the signs. When I came to the end of the construction area, while I was slowing down to cross a street, I hit a huge bump. I thought I could keep balance but I was wrong. Down I went. The construction was not competed. There was still the chasm where my front wheel got stuck.
I seem to have a little sore spot on one of my legs, that is it. The nice thing about a recumbent is that there is not far to fall.
