Writer's Block: Pick an era, any era
Now, because this is the place to be. The past would mean leaving any cultural or technological progressions behind. Science and society would be more primitive. I love science and moving forward. I wouldn't choose to live in the future either, because we don't know what's in the future. For all I know, things could get worse. I'm happy now, why risk being in a time where I might not be? Beside, the future comes minute by minute and I won't miss a thing.
