Making lemonade
So I guess my teacher doesn't hate me or at least I am growing on her.
I got an A+ on my essay and let me tell you, it was a huge relief. I
really enjoy signing but it has been a really tough class. Especially
the whole video-tape-yourself-signing thing. I hate watching myself on
tape.
Harry Potter this weekend! I can't wait. The movie looks awesome. Only bad part is no Sirius. :( He'll be back for the next one though. Hopefully the cast will see it through to the end. Even though the movies aren't entirely true to the books the casting has been awesome. That is one of my concerns with making an Outlander movie, I have definite ideas what the characters in that series of books look like. After all the pages I have read on them and the numerous times I have reread them, they are all friends to me and I know them intimately. Jaime especially will be a hard role to fill. I don't see how it can be done realistically and part of me wants them to just leave it alone. But money will be the determining factor I am sure as it is in most things. The fan base is definitely there, not as big as the Potter fan base but then again what is?
I have been making some Christmas gifts and I hope to get my cards out soon, I wish there were more hours in the day. I'm almost done with my shopping, just in time as all the pleasant :::heavy sarcasm::::: holiday shoppers emerge to reek havoc in the name of the Prince of Peace. I found this cool book at Salvation Army this week. It's called the Paradoxical Commandments. Pretty simple theory but it makes a lot of sense. It even has a web site, doesn't everything? lol
