so here's the idea
In moving back into my room at home from my dorm room, I realized just how much extraneous stuff I have. Especially clothes. And then I had a light-bulb moment and thought that lots of other people probably had the same problem. This light bulb was followed shortly by a scathingly brilliant idea. So here it is.
I have a lot of clothes that I don't want/can't fit in to. You have a lot of clothes that you don't want. I may be interested in some of the clothes you don't want and you may be interested in some of the clothes I don't want. So instead of pleading with the nice bitches at Plato's Closet, Everyday People, Ragstock, or random consignment shops to take your clothes and give you pennies for them in return, why not have a clothes swap? Only not just you and me, but you and me and everyone we know that is currently sufferring from too many clothes and not enough space.
So I'm suggesting holding a clothes-swap here some day and getting all of our friends to bring clothes that they won't wear anymore, and trading. The deal would be that you could take home as many clothes as you brought (and maybe more) completely free. All the clothes left over that no one wants would be donated to Good Will. Would anyone be interested in something like this???
