OK guys, here it is. I'm not saying it's good. You should feel honored, Wizard hasn't seen this yet!! And this was supposed to be for her b-day. I am in soooooo much trouble!! I should probably let her read it. Tell me what you think, be honest!! If you haven't watched anymore of the show than what I showed you, you will be confused. This was me trying to be funny. It didn't work.
Kaoru's Hair Ribbon
by: klpgirl
It was about a week after Kenshin defeated Jineh. Kaoru was still mad about Kenshin ruining her favorite indigo ribbon (not blue, not colbat, but indigo).
Kenshin had tried to wash the blood out of the ribbon. And you could barly see the darker tint form the blood. Regarless, Kaoru wasn't happy with Kenshin.
Kaoru was sulking in her room mourning the loss of her hair ribbon when Kenshin came home from a shopping trip. He quietly walked up to her room and knocked on the door.
"What do you want?" Kaoru asked none too politely.
"Miss Kaoru, I um . . . I have somehting for you," a very nervous Kenshin called through the door. He still had the bump from when he last talked to her.
Kaoru opened the door to see Kenshin with a brightly colored box tied with a bow.
"Um, Th-this is for you," Kenshin handed her the box and took off outside.
Kaoru stood in her doorway looking at the box and blushing. Kenshin had just given her something that looked remarkably like a present. Kenshin had never given her a present before and she had been so rude to him.
Kaoru opened the package and found a beautiful pink ribbon.
Kaoru put up her hair with the new ribbon. Admiring herself in the mirror, Kaoru couldn't help but think how well the pink looked with her dark hair.
Feeling guilty, Kaoru walked out to see Kenshin in his usual place. At the sound of Kaoru's footsteps, Kenshin looked up from the laundry, "Hello Miss Kaoru. That ribbon looks very good on you, that it does. I hope you like it," Kenshin said with his patented smile. He remained wary of a possible wooden sword attack.
"Thank you Kenshin. I love my new ribbon." Kaoru wasn't looking at him and so she missed the shocked look he gave her. Her moods could really be unpedictable.
Recovering from the shock of not being hit, Kenshin said, "I'm just sorry I ruined your other one."
"Oh, it's ok. Kenshin I forgive you," Kaoru said with a smile.
The two just stood there smiling at eachother. A few yards away, hidden from sight, two others watched on.
"Well, it's good to see them getting along again," the tallest of the two said with a look of accomplishment on his face.
"I guess so. Although why Ugly got so mad it the first place I'm not sure," the younger boy said. "Where did you get the idea to buy her another anyway? Also, where did you get the money you gave Kenshin for the ribbon? I don't think you're capable of this kind of thing on your own. Did Megu-" Yahiko is cut off by a hit to the head from the rooster head standing next to him.
"Shut up you brat! I did it all on my own."
"Yeah right."
A fight beaks out and everything in the dojo is as it should be.
The End
OH NOOOO!! After typing this I just realized, there's more about Sano and Yahiko than Kenshin and Kaoru. I need to add more. I think I'll add more about Kaoru being mad at Kenshin and the torture she puts him through. I do know where Sano got the idea and money. If you ask me real nice I might write about that too.
P.S. If you watch the outtakes from the DVDs you'll get the indigo not blue or cobalt extra.
