2007 In Review
January: Rang in the new year with Colie at Sol in Manhattan - what a blast! We stayed in Queens, and I got to wear a scarf! Went on an awesome weekend roadtrip with Jen to Tennessee and back - spent most of our time in beautiful North Georgia.
February: Mom moved in next door. Celebrated Fabio's birthday. Enjoyed the cool weather. Painted my living room yam. Bryan helped me move my fishtank from Lehigh to my new apartment. Read Apathy, the hilarious book Aric got me for xmas. Chris got into his accident and I spent several days with him in the hospital in St. Pete, and he stayed at my house for a few days so I could help him.
March: Achieved my Blue belt (5th Kyu) in karate and my Purple belt (6th Kyu) in kobudo. Started a livejournal. Lisa started the UWiiC (Ultimate Wii Championship) boxing tournament. Watched a bunch of Coen Brothers and Scorcesse films. Bought a grill and started cooking on it several times a week. Trista and Aric came over and I cooked for them. The ich breakout that killed a bunch of my fish began. Read Water for Elephants. Watched a bunch of movies - found out about Wong Kar Wai, who is now one of my favorite directors. Spent a day at the beach with the Colie and Fabio gang - sunburned my shins. Participated in my first ever Relay for Life. Skipped going to my mom's house for my brother's bday dinner.
April: Stacy's dog Bailey got hit by a car and died on her bday. Celebrated Stacy's bday. RJ Rady passed away. Got my new camera. Began applying for second jobs. Cleaned up my Lehigh House and found out my old neighbors stole a bunch of stuff from me. Celebrated Danny's bday. I quit smoking regularly.
May: Mom moved away from next door. Became addicted to eBay. Became Bento obsessed. Bill Mosman killed himself. Asia Fest. Went to Chris Scavo's bday party. Hung out with Jerome. Shelly graduated high school. Went to the casino with Colie and Fabio. Had my first experience with a do-it-yourself carpet cleaner. Celebrated mother's day in North Port. Went to the Dr. and had praise rained upon me for my weightloss over the year.
June: Celebrated Aric's bday at Mr. Mi's. Miss Yuki left for Japan. Achieved my Green belt (4th Kyu) in karate and my Blue belt (5th Kyu) in kobudo. Had a fun night with Sensei and Brad and hung out at the Buddha later with them and Lisa's gang. Went to Sensei's Japanese lesson's at dojo summer camp. Hung out with Jerome again. Went to Orlando with my mom, sisters, Nicole and Amanda and had a girls weekend.
July: Spent the 4th alone, as seems to be my tradition. Spent a weekend helping Sensei and Jerome with the dojo roof project. Erin and Jerome came over and we watched DeathNote (liveaction) together and went on a middle of the night Cape Coral road trip. Petey bit my finger. Watched a TON of movies. Yuki came back from Japan. Jen moved to New Mexico.
August: Trista and Aric broke up and Aric stayed at my house a few days. Celebrated Michele's bday in the office. Saw Superbad with Aric and his friends. Erin got her black belt and moved to NYC for school. Prequals for Disney Tournament at the dojo. Began working for Brad.
September: Achieved my Green/Brown belt (3rd Kyu) in karate and my Green belt (4th Kyu) in kobudo. Celebrated my 24th bday with my friends, family and co-workers. Celebrated Gianna's 2nd bday. Played huge amounts of Guitar Hero with Justin and Aric. Got a new battery for my car, after a night of trying to jump start it across town with Justin and Aric. Watched most of Metalocalypse season one with Justin.
October: Celebrated Brad's birthday in Naples with the gang... took turns throwing up all the way home. Brad wrecked his truck. New sign up at the dojo. Disney Tournament! Went to MGM. Didn't do anything for Halloween.
November: Hours got cut at work. Celebrated Em's 21st bday and met her boyfriend. Helped Fabio do a surprise bday party for Nicole's bday. Celebrated Maria's bday in the office. Sensei went to Seattle. Yuki, Pam, Brad and myself went to a nice party at the Goodmans and went to Origami later and ate a bunch of really interesting food. Applied at Blockbuster. Cooked a huge Thanksgiving dinner in North Port and hung out there a bit with my sisters and their friends. Watched Big Fish with mom. Celebrated mom's bday with a BBQ in North Port. Had dinner with the Doughertys. Started writing Metalocalypse summaries.
December: Achieved my Brown belt (2nd Kyu) in karate and my Dark Green belt (3rd Kyu) in kobudo. Dojo Christmas party - went to Ralph's with Jerome and Ralphed in the sink. Went to the movies with Pam. Aric and Trista got back together. Played rock band at Aric and Justin's. Aric gave me an acoustic guitar for xmas. Got hired at blockbuster (don't start working till the new year). Spent several days in North Port for Christmas - had a blast hanging out with my sisters and their friends - got to know their friend Brad better, he's pretty cool. Got a bike for Christmas and have been riding it all week since. Came up with my 101/1001 list. Went to Kumo with the Scavos. Came up to North Port for the last Sunday of 2007. Went to Red Lobster with Stace, Em, Jake, Phil, and Mark. I'm still in North port, but I don't know if I'm gonna stick around until 2008.
