Well first off, Happy belated not dead yet Day to Panny. And while I was not able to make it to the shin dig, I was there, on the answering machine. Hopefully you heard me.
Though with the vast number of non-phone answering individuals all crammed into one space, I suppose I could not expect the phone to be answered, the percentages of it not happening were off the scale.
On to other things non phone related. Finally, I achieved the hat trick in being vicitimized, yes gentleman and ladies, yours truly has been mugged 3 times in one life. This happened on April 1, so I was not so that surprised, God is still fucking with me. Seems like the joke was on the muggerz this time as I had a secret weapon, no money! The whole incident was such a non event, that afterwards, I continued to shuffle down to my local sushi bar and proceeded to get goofy on all the free beer people gave me when they heard my Rhyme of the Ancient Muggier. Looks like three's the charm boys, stuff your bill fold with old recipts and watch the thugz go nutty! Oh, don't mention that to the 'rents if you see them around town, they tend to wig out at my muggin's
On the brighter side, my maximum Klinkenweight of 180 (you heard me boyz, remember when I was 128 at BHS?) has been carved down by about 5 pounds. Still, I am some sort of beast, never knew this kind of tonnage before. BUt the boys out here have me biking now, on real mountain like things. Its crazy ass exhausting, but I know Keefuses thrill now, perhaps I can con him into coming our here and doing some off road stuff with me some time, or perhaps one of you, I know how DNA loves to bike!
Recent trips to CO to see Cherry and John N were a hoot too. I think future ski trips and winter retreats should be visited upon them. Too bad More Monsters was incommuncado until the last day, I will have to go back and do some hiking with them all.
Ah, what will folks be doing for Comic Con this year? Hopefully I can hit a couple of days there and it would be great if a few of us could coordinate, I assume that RS and DNA and even possibly Cherry would want to check it out. I think my own company may have some presence there in one of the trade stands, we'll need to see about it. I know we will be around AnimExpo, so if a certain pink haired ninja were to show up, she could score all kinds of swag by dropping my name.
August looks like LV weather, and so I think SPokes and the K man and I might head out that way for a little R&R so I can win my fortune and start Almost History, or International Problem Solvers, or start making Lif Helmet, or Glute Fuit or HumeMilk. Plans, plans..that is all.
