I am all West Coast Now
Thanks to my good friend Brad I am now officially the only MO holdout on the Western side of the nation, the Northern regions of CA having evidently fallen to the agents of Brimstone. That said, I am eyeboning for employment in order to keep my cover on this sad portion of the fringe.
The weather is nippy, but blue skies prevail today, once you are out walking in it (which few are brave enough to do for some reason in southern Cali) its envigorating. I only hope I can find a place live and work that will keep moving about outside, well I guess theres always a road crew or lawn maintenance.
In answer to MTMs query of being able to see mountains, well yes, though some might call them hills, the surrounding elevations are very apparent on the horizon to the North and East, I will try to provide pics sometime for you. On a clear day, you can see all the way down to the ocean past Carlsbad. Fascinating aside, though sunny and definitely snowless, this area host the offices of 3 prominent Snowboarding magazines and is the residence of one Golden boy Shaun White, aka, Flying Tomato.
For those in LA, I will need a bit of time here to see about getting wheels or a job before I run up that way. Who knows, maybe I will pull a weekend run sometime soon, its just that trips to giant black pyramids are coming up and they can get pricey. SOmething will be arranged soon I am sure.
