Me: So you aren't still planning on leaving tonite for MI, are you?
Cousin/Ride to MI: Yes
Me: It's supposed to snow for the next 6 hours!!
Cousin: I'm sure it will be fine.
Me: Ugh.
6 hours later, we had only made it halfway home. We followed the entire storm to MI. It was quite possibly, the most horrible ride home ever. At 2am, we were just past Kalamazoo driving 30mph on the freeway with like zero visibility. It was the suck. We had to stop outside of Lansing at my cousin's husband's parents house, where we spent the night.
Ok, so that was the downside to the weekend. On the flip side, I woke up in the country! His parent's totes live in the country and it was soo pretty with a fresh blanket of snow. We went sledding! It was so so fun.
Other news on the flipside:
We purchased our tix to California! Hooray! We are making plans and such and I think it will be so much fun!
