So, I woke up at 2am, sweating bullets and heart racing. Figured I knew what this was, but need to make sure. Checked the blood sugar... yep. 52. (background: the range the blood sugar should be in, is anywhere from 70-120. Higher, and I need insulin... lower, and I need sugar/carbs.)
So, I nuked a steak and cheese burrito, made a couple of PBJs, chugged some (non-diet) Dr. Pepper, and within 20 minutes, I felt much better, and sleepy.
Odd that a sugary, caffeinated drink would help make me sleepy, but there it was, I was bushed, and crashed out.
