Well, looks like my perseverance has finally paid off. I just got an offer to be hired, so starting tomorrow, I'll be an officially badged employee at Apple. Woo-hoo!!!!!!!! (note: those who read what I write, will probably notice that even single exclamation points are rare for me, so that should tell you how much I'd been wanting this)

The celebration will now commence!
