Saw Holli on IM; tried to say Hi to Holli, but got no response. Seems she was away, which makes sense. *re-adds contact, presuming she still actually wishes to occasionally talk to me after all this*Got happy-b-day wishes from the Classic Battletech folks... kewl. Thanked them for the wishes

Oh, that's cool. Usually you set your IM to "away", or get around to replying back at some point. You don't start typing something, then stop, and never say anything, even so briefly as "can't talk now, ttyl" or the like.

I wasn't home... at work... and bf likes to use my computer and my IM's come up right as you get connected to internet.... so... that's why there was no response from me.

Well, I read from the "bearkatkitten is typing a message" that you were there, and simply elected to not reply at all. Honestly, if someone else was at the computer, I'd have expected "I'm not Holli, I'm just at her computer right now". Honestly, I thought I was being snubbed.
