Do you ever have one of those insanely bloody annoying days where all you do is wait, and wait, and wait, and just for fun, wait?
It started at the Village. i just wanted to grab some petrol, go to the chemist, sort something out at the bank and grab a coffee. Walking distance between all these locations is under 100 metres.
It took me 45 minutes.
Bank opened late, doddering old people in front of me in queue, nobody at chemist counter, one girl serving about 5 people at Donut King.
So, I finally managed to get all that crap over with, got back in the car and headed back to the servo. I had to ring the desk bell about 6 times and wait more than 10 minutes for someone to come and see me so I could drop off the car to be serviced. I then proceeded to head over to the bus stop, wait 10 minutes and then have an X1 randomly drive past myself and 2 other people (thus costing me another half an hour) before I was able to actually catch one. Tack on the requisite transit time to Sandy Bay from Claremont, and after leaving home at 8.30 it took me more than 3 hours to get here.
In all serious, why is it so fucking hard to run a couple jobs, drop off a car and bus to uni?
