*knock knock knock* Anybody out there? I seem to be drifting away from my lj and it's really bugging me. I think I have to put a big effort into posting here much more often. Twitter and Facebook are getting the better of me but putting my thoughts and feelings down into a couple of words just isn't cutting it, I think I'm loosing my ability to ponder. Or rather, my ability to write about what I ponder. Does that make sense?
Also, I suppose with the advent of better weather I've been out more, doing more things, biking all the time. It's good for me and there is almost always something to do but I'm here at home quite a bit and it makes me wonder where my time goes. Actually I know where it's been going lately. We bought Wii Mario Kart over the weekend and I'm absolutely addicted, it's so much fun if the blister forming on my right thumb says anything about how much I've been playing lately.
I've also been doing more reading than I have been for which I am never ashamed of spending my time doing. I haven't been reading anything tough or very interesting but there have been more than a couple of evenings where you can find me with my nose buried in a book. My passion for the written word seems to not have disappeared afterall and I'm absolutely grateful for that.
Add to the summer/fall concert listings we'll be attending: The Wallflowers, quite possibly my favourite band of all time. They're going to be performing in a small venue downtown Seattle in June and we got tickets on Friday! I am absolutely ecstatic, over-the-moon excited about it. I missed an opporturnity to see them quite a few years ago in Ottawa and it totally bummed me out so this is just perfect.
I have to go to the mall now and run a couple of eerands. A top I bought on the weekend came home with the security tag still on it (I really hate that) so now I have to go get it removed and do a couple of other things.

Heartbroken that tv season finales are already here I want to much for to happen and be entertained longer. The Tudors only has two episodes left as well. Damn.
