Doug is at his first day of work at his permanent location. He's very happy and excited, that's the important thing. Unfortunately we woke up late so Doug had to run out of here but it wasn't too bad because his breakfast and lunch are there. Got to think of what to make for dinner which is surprisingly difficult in a temporary kitchen without your own appliances, cookbooks, and everything else that one is used when preparing food.
Today I have to fax the insurance company to let them know where we live so they can send some money they owe us. You know, deposits and such. it's one of the final things to get done and I'll be so happy to have left all the old house/car stuff behind and start focusing on our new dwelling that we'll hopefully close on August 3, 2008.
Yesterday Doug and I drove around a bit and checked out the neigbourhood that we'll be living in and explored the Redmond Town Center a bit too. Mmmmm, there are two book stores.....
