Daily Cookie Wisdom
SO PISSED RIGHT NOW.
I went out and bought Mother's Checkerboard Wafers last night. Remeber the strawberry, chocolate and vanilla wafers? They just sounded good with a glass of cold milk. I remember fondly enjoying their light and delicate wafery goodness. Well, those days are long gone, because they have DOUBLED the wafer. It is no longer just two wafers with creme. Nope, keeping in line with everything else that must be supersized in this country (although these are manufactured in Canada- I blame you Loonies!) the cookies are now huge, and resemble Ruger's wafers. BAAAAAAAAAAAH! The taste is totally different. They absolutely ruined this once so delectable cookie. Its now shit.
PS: In other cookie news, Julian informed me that the real Little Debbie (as in Little Debbie cookies) was SDA (Seventh Day Adventist). And she was decapited by some ungodly tractor accident. I'm too lazy to google it. But, she was the Shirley Temple of SDA apparently.
