Life
I've been away from LJ for far too long, Facebook having lured me with it's shorter post lengths. Like candy for the brain.
The house in Lake City is coming along nicely. We have three house mates who are also good friends. There was a pile of wood in the back hidden under a waterfall of ivy coming from my neighbor's yard. In the process of clearing off the ivy I disturbed a spider's nest. The little beasties ran up my arms and off my back. Yech! The wood pile also had mice and termites. That's right: termites. So we've been burning the huge pile of damp, rotten hard wood slowly but surely. Torin's allergies are not appreciative. Life in our neighborhood isn't all nasty bugs and mice, though. We have at least three Stellar Jays, a family of squirrels, an owl, and the usual complement of black birds. The other day we also spotted a bald eagle flying high overhead!
I was in a car accident about a month ago which wrenched my back. It's been a long road to recovery, but I think I'm *almost* well enough to go dancing again. I miss dancing terribly.
Tonight is gaming night and I'm looking forward to hosting everyone over here. Well, that's it for now LJ. Hope everybody is having a lovely night.
