Hello again

Once again I have neglected a regular schedule of LJ updates. I actually forgot I had this account for awhile!

I've been home in GB since Aug 26 and working my butt off at the Weidner doing lighting and changing a fuck ton of light bulbs. In this economy I am extremely grateful to have a job but this has given me motivation to go back to school, I want to get my bachelors in stage management so someday Jason and I can travel and make the big bucks together again. I miss touring so damn much, I miss Jason even more. Since I've been home we had a week at Christmas together, a short week at New Years and a short week in Ft. Lauderdale. I'm driving to Iowa to see him in March for 2 nights and then we comes home for a break the last week in April.

After the visit in April I fly with him as a Hillers to Hawaii and fly back without him as a DeJardin. Yes, we are getting married! We talked about it as soon as we knew Mamma Mia was heading to the islands for a 3 week run, made a bunch of plans and put deposits down before he even asked, he proposed over xmas break and we told our families and friends at a big dinner at our house. Totally backasswards but par for the course when it comes to us. There will be 19 people including us in Oahu for the ceremony, barefoot on the beach right by Magnum PI's house, no I am not kidding. Check out Waimanalo Beach on Google Maps and browse through the photos people have taken near there, you'll find it :)

Jason will still be on tour after that and hopefully coming home for good June 28. I've been referring to him as Brett Favre cuz he can't make up his mind! He's going to miss the money but he's been on the road since fall of 2005, it's time to come home. I just hope he sticks with this plan.

Well, I'll try to get back to this thing more often so we can keep in touch again. I've missed you, LJ Friends!

Side note: best thing I've seen on tv lately-Radiohead (rather Thom and Johnny) performing at The Grammy's with the USC marching band. Badass in a prog-rock geeky sort of way.
