take notice, take interest, take me with you
today was one of the most boring days of my life. i worked for 6 hours and guess how much profit that wretched place made?? 3 freaking dollars. that's right...three. it would have been a loss of one dollar if those 4 kids wouldn't have come at the last minute before we closed. how sad. i didn't even get any reading done...because i really would like to set aside time to read 1984. it's an interesting piece of work.
after work i headed to the fisher household where we attempted to put together the warm up tape for the upcoming season. we made little progress. after that we went to the knowles house and hit up sonic with lin steff and julia, who was new to the whole sonic thing. silly new yorkers, they aren't used to our texas ways.
anywho, sooo i'm kind of mentally freaking out because tryouts start on monday. i'm doubting every ounce of athletic ability that's in my body because i know it's going to be hard. mmm...but it'll be worth it too. before tryouts i forget the perks...like pep rallies, bus rides in the back, game day shirts, little sister gifts, gigalo, study halls of fun, having good time with wolfie, making fun of trudie during 5 man down, etc.
gaaah i can't believe another school year is upon us. everyone i know who is older keeps telling me to enjoy this year especially because it will go way too fast. i know it will be fun...i'm just really apprehensive for the changes that will inevitably take place. is that weird to be worrying about changes that you can't change but you know are going to happen?? ya...maybe it is. whatever.
i wasted a hell of a lot of time today being tired. time to go take care of that. night, all.
