Soul to Soul, or- I play the saxophone, too.
In a conversation with a band contractor who knows me only as a clarinetist (and Yiddishist), it has accidentally come up that I also play saxophones, flutes, and other some instruments (and write, and sing, too). I then realized that there are very few videos of me playing anything but the clarinet (except for the instrument nerdy test videos, and some really short bits from here and there). Also almost no piano / piano-vocal videos. Weird. So I have put together some fragments of the Soul to Soul performance in Bucharest at Festivalul Internațional de Teatru Idiș - TES FEST last fall, which of course brings back very nice memories, thanks to National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene and Teatrul Evreiesc de Stat (State Jewish Theatre of Romania).
