85% of gas stations in the Nashville area are out of gas. It's a good thing I filled up last Saturday and then biked everywhere this week, but without a locking gas cap, I'm a little afraid that my gas might get stolen. It's madness out there, lines of over an hour for gas stations that did have gas. Someone stealing gas from the lawnmower of the police chief of one of the outlying suburbs.
Not that the media is making any of this better. I'm sure they didn't help the initial run on the gas stations in the first place.
