✂ kleuren - opening
So I made a community named Kleuren one day, not knowing what to do with it. Just yesterday, I was talking to Pach skylust, asking her if she had ideas on what I could use the comm for. Then all of a sudden, a random thought occurred to me - What if I make the comm an icon battling community where people will go "I challenge you, USERNAME!" if they want to battle a certain icon maker? Sounds a lot like Pokemon. Then she said "That'd be great!" And here we are now.
NOTE: The first challenge will start after we get a... handful of members. :D
KLEUREN is an icon challenge community for icon makers who are itching to challenge their fellow icon makers to an icon battle. The concept of KLEUREN is pretty much the same as oxyded, but the difference is that the icon makers themselves will be the ones choosing who they want to do an icon battle with.
HOW WE WILL BE GOING ABOUT THE CHALLENGE:
• The mod will post a theme every two weeks. In the post, people will sign up by saying, "I challenge you, (USERNAME HERE)!" Both the challenger and the one being challenged will be signed up for the challenge. The challenger must inform the one he/she is challenging about this. The one being challenged can say no to the offer only if he/she has a substantial reason for doing so.
• The challenger and the one being challenged will exchange 10 images, giving each icon maker a total of 20 images to icon. The icons will be posted two weeks after the theme has been announced. The mod will make a submission post where links to the icon posts containing the icons from the challenge should be posted. At the end of the submission period, the mod will put up a post containing all the links to the icon posts.
