It's a real life B-movie [Backdated to Undeadfield]

[Lyn was one of the abduction casualties, not that he actually remembers what happened or how. Actually, he's been feeling pretty weird since he hauled himself out of his grave, and the retarded outfit he's been inexplicably forced to - or the fact that he can't walk unless he either shambles or stalks; he's picked stalking purely for the sake of ( Read more... )

...

[Lucas had refused to take more than a cursory glance at the graveyard yesterday, just because the town was a poopyhead. He doesn't make the connection.]

...Gosh, I thought the evil twins were on Monday...

'M not evil and I'm not a twin, either. [Lyn hmphs.] I'm just...being forced to do really stupid stuff... [He sounds uncertain, like even he's not really sure what or why.]

[Lucas slowly backs up in rhythm to Lyn's shuffling, though he doesn't look particularly afraid more than he does confused.]

And... does any of that stuff involve following me around?

[Lyn stops moving toward Lucas, looking acutely self-conscious. No one has ever been more embarrassed to be a B-movie monster than Lyn is right now.] ...kinda, yeah.

Oh.

Is there anything I can do to snap you out of it?

No idea, but I really fucking hope so. [Lyn reaches up to restlessly tug at his collar, although he doesn't make any genuine effort to remove any of his unusual attire. Though, judging from his body language, he'd desperately like to.] Otherwise I'm supposed to...I dunno, haul you to the graveyard or something? [He pauses.] And you're somebody who's actually small enough I probably could.

[Alas. He was. Lucas continues to slowly back up.]

...I could try putting you to sleep, if you don't mind. I'd rather not go to the graveyard if I can help it.

Could you? [Lyn looks hopeful and grateful. That he doesn't mind is both obvious and understating things.] 'Cause this is just goddamn embarrassing.

[He keeps moving toward Lucas, though. His mind and body aren't, apparently, on speaking terms.]

Well.

[For some reason, he doesn't quite feel right about this, but Lucas will comply. The light that appears in his hand is bright green and mesmerizing; he holds it up towards Lewellyn's face.]

I'll bring you right back home if it works, OK? I'm sorry about this...

What're you apologizing for, I'm asking...

[Lyn's voice trails off as his eyes are drawn toward the light.]

It still feels a little... weird...

[Lucas squints a little bit as he tries to make adjustments to the light. PK Flash was tricky at the best of times; Kumatora was the one who was really good at landing statuses. But he didn't want the randomized effect, he wanted... incapacitation without crying or hallucinations or any of that sort of thing.

Lucas will send the sparks flying towards Lyn's eyes when he thinks he's got it right. ...Maybe he had, maybe he hadn't.]

[Fortunately for both of them, it works like a charm - maybe because they were both hoping for it so hard. Lyn blinks for a second, then goes over like a (very small) felled tree.]

[Hooray! ........Sort of. Lucas blinks at the teenaged boy lying a few feet away from him. He'll walk over and try to put Lyn's shoulder over his own and then help him away, which... results in nothing except probably dislocating Lyn's shoulder as he pulls. Then he tries draping Lyn's arms over his own shoulders and dragging, then just plain dragging, and then burrowing underneath Lyn's body and trying to carry the much taller boy on his back.

The last attempt ends with Lucas being squashed like a pancake. After crawling away again, he pants for a few seconds before... ineffectually patting Lyn.]

Um... D-Don't go anywhere, OK? And try not to get run over... I'll be right back!...
