[Well, another crazy bullshit event, another regain from his own world. Lyn's not actually hoping for anything specific; he has back most of what he needs, really, though he wouldn't mind some of his possessions back. The box is mid-sized, and makes no noise when he shakes it, so he's got no real idea what Mayfield's seen fit to give him back this time.
He opens it, and...the box is empty. Except for a single piece of paper, anyway. Which has...what the shit is that on it? Looks like an old woodcut print -
He processes that it's a depiction of Hell a split second before he picks it up, and then oh shit.]

For anyone who chooses this highly inopportune moment to walk into the kitchen of 338 Brady - that's you, housemates - they will find a rather stunned demon standing in front of the table. Lyn has just regained his demon body(though he hasn't taken his full demon form for centuries, so he's as surprised as you are): this comes complete with ash-grey skin, large wings, horns, fangs, claws, a tail, and about a foot's increase in height. He will be recognizable as himself to anyone who's seen him as a human, as he based the one form off of the other, though you'd be forgiven if the resemblance is not the first thing you notice.]

[Later in the day, Lyn can be found in the backyard, trying to practice shifting between his human and demon forms; he's spent so long being human - even before coming to Mayfield - that human has practically become his new default. It's hard, frustrating, and exhausting, a bit like trying to remember how to do complex math you learned years ago, and you may be drawn to the backyard by the sound of his cursing alone. Whether or not you see him in the middle of shifting is up to you!]
