Right As Rain masterpost and other information
So this is something new I'm working on - my own take on the nerd!Blaine/cheerio!Kurt craze that went down a few months ago (I know, I'm a little late to the party - I always have been).
I had my own thoughts on how nerd!Blaine/cheerio!Kurt would go down, and then I got carried away with a headcanon and it ended up being a fic. So I enlisted my friends Rachel and Dia and the two of them helped me (and became my betas) for this ridiculous time-consuming monster (and you're saying IT'S JUST A FIC, ZOEY, CALM YOURSELF). Well, whatever. There's all this background that I can't even... whatever. Okay.
So I guess here we go. The fic is titled "Right As Rain" after Adele's song, and I'm pretty sure the title is random. Um, anything you have questions about will hopefully be answered as the story goes on. It is as of now incomplete, although that will (obviously) change. I was hoping to complete the fic before posting it, but apparently fanfiction.net is doing some completely ridiculous fic-removal thing and I didn't want to risk anything, so I'm going to start posting it here.
Here's what you need to know:
Blaine is a sophomore, Kurt is a junior. (Boo, I know).
Beth happened, Fuinn happened (then stopped happening), Finchel did not.
Barole is in the process of happening.
Kurt's crush on Finn never happened.
Dalton never happened for Blaine.
Almost all canon couples (aside from Finchel and maybe Wemma) will make an appearance here at some point. The only couple in here that is not canon is Faberry.
Santana, Brittany, Sam, Finn, Blaine, Rachel, Quinn, Puck, Mike, Tina, Artie, and now Kurt are part of New Directions.
Mercedes, Rory, Sugar, Lauren Zizes, and Joe are not, at least for now.
At some point, at least Sugar (and probably Rory) should appear, if I follow the storyline set up in my mind.
Cooper exists; Blaine lives with him.
