knock on wood.
just to start things off on the right foot. its nice to be able to sigh. to
sit with someone's arm around me and know that its sincere. i love laughing.
and i love knowing he thinks its cute.
i just had the best weekend ive had in a long time. in state of course. =)
who thought bush louisiana could be a fun place? eric was over here thursday night
so he could work at Oschner on friday and then friday night we drove to bush to
hang with his family. i swear his mom and i are so much alike its uncanny.
i miss j more than i could ever, ever express. missing him makes me miss baton rouge...
and shannon, and jill, and scrooge, and cheech, and frank, and not-mom, and meat.
christian, jeff, fairy matt...i didnt mean to exclude them! i just cant wait to get back.
eric and i spent a while talking about how we expected things to go in baton rouge, and
frankly, im excited. seeing him once every 2 weeks blows. not really, it kinda keeps things
simple and in perspective, but itd be so nice to be able to curl up with him more than twice
a month. oh well, 2 weeks to go.
saturday night, we went to eat at outback with his family. yummy! but afterwards, he took
me to the boat launch and, by his suggestion, ended up looking at the most incredible stars
ive ever seen. you cant see shit like that in kenner. i thought the sky was awesome from
luling, but its nothing compared to out there. and even better, HE suggested it.
its nice to be treated like a girlfriend.
but its so fucking hard to get the voices in my head seperated from the feeling in the
pit of my stomach. its a work in progress.
i love that he knows how tough im gonna be to crack and all he does is kiss my forehead and laugh.
