My eye is bum.
Well...okay...I'm not ACTUALLY drunk, but it feels like it. Apparently my retina decided it was going to keep peeling off like it did before, even though they zapped it with a laser...twice...to keep it on. So I had to get it zapped again, and this time they offered me a narcotic to "take the edge off." So now I feel like I'm drunk, which is okay by me.
However, the prospect of my eye being bum for the rest of my life is not. The docs didn't seem too concerned, but I thought it was all better, considering that the last time it was a problem was two years ago. He said this should clear it up, and I hope so. It's really a strange thing...he puts a big glass lens on my eyeball and then shined a really bright green laser into it, which was kind of uncomfortable. But, here I am, alive and good. So that's all.
