TODAY!
So yesterday we finally met Tanya's parents. :) Lovely, lovely people. It was so nice. Even though it rained cats and dogs and Tanya's Dad's jacket got a little dirty from the umbrella above us. It was a lovely time.
It was really neat to meet your best friends' parents after all these years. You can really see where certain traits come from. It was really cool.
I think I'd love to cook supper with her Mother. :)
Today Ruud and I had shopping to do. We were finally going to go to a store to get me a walker, but the stupid place was closed! Arggh... so not this Thursday, but the Thursday after... we are going to get one. I know I have to, everyone has been saying so for like 2 years... but I am stubborn and really didn't want to give into that. But I realized a few months ago, I need one. Soo, it just took me sometime to mentally get used to this idea.
Ruud and I went to this other Toko today and chinese store... Besides the few neat food items, both places were a major bummer. I was really hoping the cute chinese shop would be just like the old one a little way from downtown. It wasn't... We saw 2 or 3 sorta neat things and the rest was just garbage. Such a shame.
I really need to live in Utrecht!
I also got two new piercings for my holes. The balls kept falling off the just the stick like things I had in my first holes. I bought navel twisty hoop thingies, they both go opposite directions, which it kinda funny. One side has a silver ball, the other a blue cone thing. It's hard to describe. LOL! But I really like it. It's far from typical which suits me. Ruud wasn't exactly happy with the price of 35 Euros. But hey... It's not the END of the world.
Tried to call Dennis again. Either he got another new cell number or he is just really, really busy. I'll try again next week, if I don't reach him. I'll try the house phone.
