the pear tree
in good news, the pear tree i bought and planted with cozmo in memory of his father is growing nicely and is quite green since we protected it from the deer with some netting.
i expected it to wither away, no matter how much love and attention i showed it i was sure it wouldn't survive. as such, i've barely given it much fertilized soil and i water it far less often than i should. and life is bursting from its branches all the same. ah goddess, life is abundant in surprising ways.
