I had a nice time walking through the woods with my roomie, whose parents live in the lovely Ostholstein countryside. We ended up staying until Friday night because it was so nice there. I wish I could show pics but as usual, I took my camera and forgot to take any. I win!
It was nice and relaxing and I got to recover from ... some things. I also read 22 volumes of Asterix. Again. These books are so awesome. And now I sort-of ship one-sided Asterix/Obelix but shhhh. XD Obviously, you can`t leave your slasher mind at home.

To make this post slightly less uninteresting, here`s my edition of Zeda`s sex meme. ;D I did it for both my Mellos in Nihil and Sigil at once; because it would be totally redundant to do it twice for the same character. 01. Okay, first things first. Does your character have a determined sexuality? Heterosexual, homosexual, bisexual, asexual...?
While I think that Canon!Mello is a flaming homosexual (Shower scene? Come on!), Sigil!Mello might be bi ... or perhaps more of an opportunist who seizes the moment. He`d also utilize sex to get what he wants, so he needs to stay flexible. XD Since his last three sexual contacts were exclusively male though, I guess he leans more in that direction. XD Nihil!Mello is homosexual.
02. Where does sexuality rank in your character's priorities? Does the answer to the question above in any way define your character's interactions with others in-game? Or, if your character does NOT have a sexuality that can be so easily labeled, are they troubled by this uncertainty in any way?
Sigil!Mello certainly uses intimacy and sexuality to communicate his feelings. So they`re a very defining part of his relationships. I think having passionate sex with Near helped him a lot to make a connection with him back when their communication was still messed-up and difficult. It was easier to ravish him instead of putting into words what he started to feel. And he tried to snap Matt out of his depression by giving him head ... I think that says a lot about him. ^^ I think Sigil!Near said it best when he said "Mello has to touch everything he likes.". Nihil!Mello is a bit less experienced and a bit more tense, so it probably isn`t as important for him, but he definitely is very physical, too.
03. Would your character consider switching their 'usual' role in a sexual situation? If this question seems a bit vague, I'll elaborate: Would your male or sexually dominant character be open to being dominated, topped or made to submit sexually? Or, would your female or sexually submissive character have any ambition to dominate or display aggression in a sex situation? Why or why not?
Actually, I don`t like the "dominant/submissive", "seme/uke" stereotype at all. In my opinion, you don`t have to be submissive to bottom, and not dominant in order to top. There`s more to sex than that. From Mello`s point of view though, I`d say he prefers to be the active one because that way, he can do more stuff and run the show. It also might be a trust issue, because it`s much easier to get hurt being the bottom, and we all know Mello likes to inflict pain more than he likes receiving it ... I think. In Sigil!Mello`s case, it`s also part of his backstory that he`s probably been fucked against his will a few times and he doesn`t keep pleasant memories of that. If he trusts someone to do it right and not mess it up, he`d happily give himself to someone, though.
04. Would your character cross dress? If they were put into a situation where the issue was forced, would they fight it tooth and nail or easily accept? Why or why not?
Sigil!Mello was forced to crossdress once, and he was so humiliated by it that he contemplated shooting himself in the head. XD To his defense, he was also drugged, and concerned about Near who was sort of in a regressive mental state at that point, and freaking out. I thought he wouldn`t like it because he`s been someone`s bitch in the mafia a couple times too many and it would bring back unpleasant memories of that. Yeah. In retrospect, I sort of regret that reaction; I think if I played it today, Mello would take it more in stride and would be more playful and nonchalant about it. Because he does have a bit of a perverted, decadent vibe and I think he might enjoy that kind of thing. XD
I personally don`t like crossdress and crossplay at all, so it most likely won`t happen. XD Though I have to mention that Sigil!Mello wants to see Near in pretty much everything, including a dress.
05. Does your character have any opinion regarding others' sexuality? Any moral, religious, or personal objections to certain lifestyles? Do they just not give a shit? And why do they feel the way that they do?
No. I think prudes and hypocrites would amuse him. XD For obvious reasons, he wouldn`t be too fond of pedophiles or rapists, but whatever is mutual and fun goes. As for Nihil!Mello, he probably looks down on people who give in to temptations too easily because it goes against his own code of business before pleasure.

Sigil!Mello received his first kiss from an older, beautiful wife in his fugitive village, when he was ten. Because I imagine him as being major jailbait. It was really playful and innocent and her husband never found out. Nihil!Mello shared a very awkward first kiss with another boy at the orphanage and never talked about it afterwards. In my experience, first kisses are very rarely with someone that actually will play a part in your life later on, so I stuck to that.
Sigil!Mello`s first meaningful kiss was with Sigil!Near.
07. Was there anybody that your character had a crush on when they were younger? Was it a friend, a neighbor, a mentor, an enemy...?
All my Mellos used to have a distant crush on L. Seriously, all of them. XD L was the first person to make enough of an impact on Mello to idolize and crush on. He was probably lusting after Near in a more twisted way (both Nihil and Sigil), but I wouldn`t call it a crush.
08. Your character MUST have gone through puberty by now. Who or what did they have wet dreams about? Even if it's involuntary, almost everyone has had a wet dream before, so... what was your character's dream?
Mello might have woken up to a tent in his pants having weird and violent sexual dreams about Near. ^^* I think he was getting fixated on him really early on, and his loathing for him always had a predatory and obsessive side.
09. Has your character dated before? Did they have boyfriends or a girlfriends before the point in their timeline from which you are playing them now? How did those relationships work-out for your character, or barring past relationships: did your character avoid having a significant other for any reason?
For obvious reasons, Mello would usually avoid any kind of steady relationship. In the criminal world, personal shit like that only gets in the way. He also might not have been interested in intimacy, being as driven as he is. If anything, he had playthings that knew how to stay out of his business. Mello seperates sex and relationships very clearly.
For Sigil!Mello, Near was the first person where these two things actually come together. He is very interested in exploring the possibility of an actual relationship with him, and is keen on dragging him out on actual dates. Mello considers him his ultimate significant other.
Nihil!Mello probably had a hot-cold on-off relationship with Rod. But it was more a case of mutually using each other, so that`s his current idea of intimate relationships. He wouldn`t mind a no-strings-attached romp with someone, but he is wary about the strings part.
10. How did your character lose their virginity, and to whom? Were the circumstances pleasant or unpleasant? If your character's still a virgin, have they ever gotten close to being that intimate with someone?
Sigil!Mello`s first time was unpleasant, and involved him sleeping with a stranger in a back of a truck in order to hitch a ride to Los Angeles when he was 15. This established his idea about sex as leverage. This perception changed only when he met Near in Sigil, and slept with him out of desire. Nihil!Mello`s first time was with one of Rod`s strippers because he wanted to prove his prowess to him,and he didn`t want Rod to be his first. Also everybody was sleeping with Rod`s hos and despite being gay, Mello didn`t want to be the odd one out.

Repeatedly. XD I imagine Sigil!Mello gave Rod quite a few handjobs under various nightclub tables, and the same goes for Nihil!Mello. It`s an easy way to get someone to say yes to anything you want.
13. If your character has used their hands on a man, would they be willing to using their hands on a woman [or vice-versa]? Is there a difference of taste, a level of squick or an utter lack of interest involved?
I think Sigil!Mello does appreciate a beautiful woman and he probably has done this before. In his current state, he wouldn`t engage in sex with anybody else but Near because he doesn`t want to. In Nihil!Mello`s case, serious lack of interest is at bay, though he did it once or twice, too.
14. Pianists, artists and surgeons are just a few kinds of people with very skillful hands. Is your character especially dextrous? Do they to a good job of pleasuring someone with their hands? Or, is their touch as skillful and delicate as a bat from a boxing glove?
I think, since both Mellos I play are experienced, and fast learners, they`re both probably good at it by now.
15. Does your character mind their partner 'reaching the peak' while in their hands? It's a matter of texture and cleanliness, and some people absolutely despise the squishy, messy feeling and the smell of it. Does your character revel in it?

Both Sigil and Nihil Mello had a time where they utilized sex to get ahead, so most definitely yes. The first few times, no real level of relationship was involved. It was probably not bad, but there was a lot of shame attached. In Sigil, Mello received oral sex from Near and was literally overwhelmed by it, it had a very different quality because he actually likes him. Rod never gave head to Nihil!Mello, but his prostitute certainly did.
17. Has your character ever given anyone oral sex? Who did they give it to, and under what circumstances? Was it good for their partner, or was it bad [remember, this was your character's first time. There's no shame in not doing something right the first time!]?
Repeatedly. XD In getting what you want, a blowjob is even more effective than a handjob. I know there was an incident with Sigil!Mello giving head to Rod in a movie theatre. I imagine Nihil!Mello probably had a similar experience.
Since oral sex is an integral part of foreplay, Sigil!Mello does it on a regular basis?
18. If your character received oral from a female, how would your character react to receiving it from a male? If they received it from a male, how would they react if a female went down on them? Both are pretty natural sexual acts, and Mello wouldn`t be conflicted about either of them. He probably felt skeevy when he did it for money or favours, but that`s all. Nihil!Mello probably wouldn`t know what to do with a vagina, but he`d manage. XD
I don`t think he was great at it the first time, because honestly, nobody is, but like I said - he`s a fast learner.
19. Is your character especially skillful with their tongue? People with oral fixations [smokers, people who constantly chew on reeds or candies, etc.] tend to be naturals in this department, it seems, but not everyone is so blessed. Did your character apply a concentrated effort to be as good as they are? At the other end of the spectrum, do they really not care for giving oral at all and avoid it at all costs?
I liked to think that Mello, being the chocolate sucker he is, is very skillful. But ever since Sigil!Near`s performance, I`m convinced Near does it better, so .... he`s fine, but not the best. XD
20. Would your character spit or swallow [where situations apply] and why? Would they even allow their partner to 'play to a crescendo' while still in their mouth?
Spit. Because, really .... sperm =/= yummy. But since he`s experienced, he`d know a subtle way to get rid of it without offending his partner. ^^ Sigil!Mello definitely likes to see Near come wherever, including his mouth, though, but I think they never did that.

Sigil!Mello prefers any position where him and Near are face to face, because he loves eye contact and observing him and his reactions during sex. Whether it`s on the floor, on a bed, or up against a wall doesn`t matter. He also quite likes sex in public or in risky places; so much should be obvious by now. ^^ I have no idea what Nihil!Mello prefers.
22. Does your character like it slow and gentle or fast and rough? Is there any deeper psychological reason for this preference, or do they just like it better one way or the other?
Both has its appeal. Since Mello is rash and passionate, rough sex happens more often than not, I guess. Sigil!Mello has had his most gentle sex with Matt; Near is more about deliberately teasing him until he loses his shit, whereas Matt plays more to his protective side, I think. Actually, Sigil!Mello would like to be more gentle with Near from time to time, but passion usually gets the better of him.
23. Is your character quiet about expressing themselves during the act, or are they so loud that the neighbors will call the cops? Are they relatively immobile participants that leave their partners to do most of the work or are they passionately throwing themselves into every position imaginable? Why are they that way, and is it an issue of taste or of capability for them?
I´m not sure if he`s loud, but Sigil!Mello is vocal. He likes inventive dirty talk and he likes that Near likes it, and I think his voice plays an important part in their sex life. He would rather whisper dirty little secrets than scream the house down, though.
Something tells me that Nihil!Mello would be more "Shut up!" during sex but I`m not sure. Mostly because he knows the business side better than the pleasure side.
24. It's pretty hard to maintain a balance here, though it is possible... but there's almost always an element of either selfishness or selflessness in sex. Is your character more focused on satisfying their own needs first, or on pleasuring their partner?
Um ... I`d say that Mello is all about satisfying his needs, but he wouldn`t be satisfied until his partner is reeling in ecstasy, so it`s both.

Since Sigil!Near has the habit to fall asleep from exhaustion right after, I think Sigil!Mello usually observes him until he`s either too tired to stay awake too or gets up to do something else. He`s not a cuddler but he does like his lover to sleep in his arms.

I think there`s no kink that Sigil!Mello is NOT interested in trying with Near, but unlike earlier, he wouldn`t want to actually put him in danger or hurt him. But he did like to tie him up, so as long as it`s a game he`d be up for whatever. I think for Mello, based on his experiences, sex will always have a violent aspect, though he`d be more careful when it comes to Near. Or Matt. Nihil!Mello definitely, definitely thinks bloodied Near is hot, and choking him and scarring him absolutely moved him ... to places. Econtra!Mello got involved in very bloody lovemaking with his twin, and he loved it. Mello is a very angry person in general, so I suppose this will play into his sex life as well. And he quite loves his gun.

Sigil!Mello loves the idea of being watched and/or heard, and especially by L. He is very confident and he sure has exhibitionistic tendencies. He wouldn`t mind specators at all. I don`t know why, but for some reason Sigil!Mello has been and will always be completely shameless (unless you put him in a dress XD). He even found it thrilling when the Shinigami Shidou walked in on him and Near. Though he was sort of offended that Shidou saw him giving head to Near instead of the other way around; so yes, he`s a showman. XD
Nihil!Mello wouldn`t mind anybody watching him unless he`s being humiliated or it`s with Near, in that case nobody shall EVER find out. XD

But he wouldn`t do it, because he respects the both of them too much; he is wary about causing even more damage than what has already been done.

No. Never.
I could never respect or like a rapist character, and so no character I like or respect will ever turn into one. Even in Sigil, where Mello`s and Near`s first sexual encounter was sort of brutal, Mello would have stopped if Near hadn`t said "I`m willing to follow your game."Seduction, yes, force, no.
Mello might get carried away, but he would stop before he actually rapes someone; he is way above forcing himself on somebody.
Mello is twisted, but he doesn`t have the mindset of a rapist at all; he`s a little pathetic sometimes, but not THAT pathetic.
30. Would your character be tempted by SOME FORM OF SEX that is illegal by its very nature? I mean, let's see here... that would be 'taking the jailbait' or 'getting a bit too friendly with the sheep,' for example. Would they obey these urges?
I don`t think Mello has qualms about sexual laws, but I honestly think he wouldn`t do any of the above. Even though earlier in his life, he probably wouldn`t have minded being the jailbait to L`s sexy mentor. XD Despite that, Mello still has a professional attitude so he wouldn`t do something that easily puts him in trouble or exposes him; Near being the exception. But Near is legal. Thank God. XD

31. Okay, to ease you back into the world of light, let's have a few final questions about relationships in general. Is your character the type to remain committed and monogamous, or would they be likely or capable of cheating on their significant other?
I think Sigil!Mello never dreamed about being monogamous, but he is committed to Near now. Finding someone he actually wants this much and actually cares this much about is something very rare and special to him, so he will not jeopardize it. The only two people who could tempt him would be L and Matt. But all three of them are too important to him for him to do something stupid right now.
He would sleep with Esha if it would help their case to get out of Sigil. Like I said, Mello seperates sex and love ... most of the time.
Nihil!Mello would probably not cheat once he has something that benefits him.
32. Would your character be the type to happily bounce headlong into longterm dating, engagement and marriage, or would they be more likely to have commitment anxiety and 'cold feet?' Incidentally, are they more likely to propose or to be proposed to by their partner or any prospective partners in-game?
Mello is not cut out for normal, functional relationships. XD But Sigil!Mello tries. And yes, he did experience a lot of anxiety when he realized he was falling for Near; it was unfamiliar, and he knew he was getting in head over heels.
All in all, he came to realize that caring for people is so much harder than not giving a shit, and it scares him; but he enjoys it, too. It`s the new big adventure.
33. Does your character seem like they would be a good or a bad parent? Regardless of their actual sexual situation and whether they CAN have kids in their current or prospective relationship or not, do you think that they'd be up to the task of caring for a child? Or, do they HATE the little buggers? Why do they feel that way?
Sigil!Mello would like to have a legacy and I think he would be a good, if somewhat unreliable and chaotic parent. XD However, being with Near is more important than that. Nihil!Mello would be an abysmal parent; he`s still an immature little brat himself! XD
He will probably have a young apprentice or something like that one day. Mello has grown up striving to be like L and I think he`d love to be someone`s mentor. This goes for both Sigil and Nihil Mello. I know Nihil!Mello had lots of fun teaching Little!L how to break open a lock.
34. Does your character seem like the sort to really 'settle-down' with their partner? Or are they more likely to spend the rest of their days globetrotting and living it up like they're not a day over 20?
No; both Mellos would get bored with settling down. I think for Sigil!Mello, this is a huge issue because he`s somewhat comfortable where he is now but he is terrified to stagnate. Nihil!Mello wouldn`t even dream of settling down.
So even if any of my Mellos was in a steady relationship with someone *cough* Near *cough*, he`d probably not even live with that person, but travel from hotel room to hotel room being his own master. But make every encounter worthwile. ^^
35. Would your character remain loyal to their partner unto death, or are they the type to leave a string of divorces in their wake?
Once a certain level of intensity is reached - most definitely loyal unto death. Though I have to admit - I can see Canon!Mello wreck every single relationship he`s in, but since this is Rp!Mello and I get to decide? Till death do us part. XD

06. Let's ease into talking about the act itself with a little exploration of your character's tentative beginnings. When did your character receive their first kiss? Who was the person that kissed them? Were the circumstances pleasant or unpleasant?
Sigil!Mello received his first kiss from an older, beautiful wife in his fugitive village, when he was ten. Because I imagine him as being major jailbait. It was really playful and innocent and her husband never found out. Nihil!Mello shared a very awkward first kiss with another boy at the orphanage and never talked about it afterwards. In my experience, first kisses are very rarely with someone that actually will play a part in your life later on, so I stuck to that.
Sigil!Mello`s first meaningful kiss was with Sigil!Near.
07. Was there anybody that your character had a crush on when they were younger? Was it a friend, a neighbor, a mentor, an enemy...?
All my Mellos used to have a distant crush on L. Seriously, all of them. XD L was the first person to make enough of an impact on Mello to idolize and crush on. He was probably lusting after Near in a more twisted way (both Nihil and Sigil), but I wouldn`t call it a crush.
08. Your character MUST have gone through puberty by now. Who or what did they have wet dreams about? Even if it's involuntary, almost everyone has had a wet dream before, so... what was your character's dream?
Mello might have woken up to a tent in his pants having weird and violent sexual dreams about Near. ^^* I think he was getting fixated on him really early on, and his loathing for him always had a predatory and obsessive side.
09. Has your character dated before? Did they have boyfriends or a girlfriends before the point in their timeline from which you are playing them now? How did those relationships work-out for your character, or barring past relationships: did your character avoid having a significant other for any reason?
For obvious reasons, Mello would usually avoid any kind of steady relationship. In the criminal world, personal shit like that only gets in the way. He also might not have been interested in intimacy, being as driven as he is. If anything, he had playthings that knew how to stay out of his business. Mello seperates sex and relationships very clearly.
For Sigil!Mello, Near was the first person where these two things actually come together. He is very interested in exploring the possibility of an actual relationship with him, and is keen on dragging him out on actual dates. Mello considers him his ultimate significant other.
Nihil!Mello probably had a hot-cold on-off relationship with Rod. But it was more a case of mutually using each other, so that`s his current idea of intimate relationships. He wouldn`t mind a no-strings-attached romp with someone, but he is wary about the strings part.
10. How did your character lose their virginity, and to whom? Were the circumstances pleasant or unpleasant? If your character's still a virgin, have they ever gotten close to being that intimate with someone?
Sigil!Mello`s first time was unpleasant, and involved him sleeping with a stranger in a back of a truck in order to hitch a ride to Los Angeles when he was 15. This established his idea about sex as leverage. This perception changed only when he met Near in Sigil, and slept with him out of desire. Nihil!Mello`s first time was with one of Rod`s strippers because he wanted to prove his prowess to him,and he didn`t want Rod to be his first. Also everybody was sleeping with Rod`s hos and despite being gay, Mello didn`t want to be the odd one out.

11. Now we begin with the dirty details! Has your character ever been fingered or given a handjob? Was this one of their initial sexual experiences, or did they plunge right into the deep end when they lost their virginity? Do they like to be fingered or given hand jobs, or is it not really their thing?
In Sigil!Mello`s case, he has only come to enjoy being on the receiving end ever since Near has started doing it. I think it`s common knowledge that Near has skillful hands. ^^
12. Has your character ever fingered or given a hand job to anybody else? The difference in aggressiveness and intent between giving and receiving is an interesting dynamic to explore, so let's see: was your character doing this because they wanted to, or were they asked/forced to do it?
Repeatedly. XD I imagine Sigil!Mello gave Rod quite a few handjobs under various nightclub tables, and the same goes for Nihil!Mello. It`s an easy way to get someone to say yes to anything you want.
13. If your character has used their hands on a man, would they be willing to using their hands on a woman [or vice-versa]? Is there a difference of taste, a level of squick or an utter lack of interest involved?
I think Sigil!Mello does appreciate a beautiful woman and he probably has done this before. In his current state, he wouldn`t engage in sex with anybody else but Near because he doesn`t want to. In Nihil!Mello`s case, serious lack of interest is at bay, though he did it once or twice, too.
14. Pianists, artists and surgeons are just a few kinds of people with very skillful hands. Is your character especially dextrous? Do they to a good job of pleasuring someone with their hands? Or, is their touch as skillful and delicate as a bat from a boxing glove?
I think, since both Mellos I play are experienced, and fast learners, they`re both probably good at it by now.
15. Does your character mind their partner 'reaching the peak' while in their hands? It's a matter of texture and cleanliness, and some people absolutely despise the squishy, messy feeling and the smell of it. Does your character revel in it?
He loves it.

16. Getting a bit deeper now... Has your character ever received oral sex [fellatio or cunnilingus] from anyone? Was it from someone with whom they were engaged in a romantic relationship, or was it from someone else [a friend, a neighbor, a mentor, an enemy]? Was it good, or was the other person just as inexperienced at giving as your character was at receiving?
Both Sigil and Nihil Mello had a time where they utilized sex to get ahead, so most definitely yes. The first few times, no real level of relationship was involved. It was probably not bad, but there was a lot of shame attached. In Sigil, Mello received oral sex from Near and was literally overwhelmed by it, it had a very different quality because he actually likes him. Rod never gave head to Nihil!Mello, but his prostitute certainly did.
17. Has your character ever given anyone oral sex? Who did they give it to, and under what circumstances? Was it good for their partner, or was it bad [remember, this was your character's first time. There's no shame in not doing something right the first time!]?
Repeatedly. XD In getting what you want, a blowjob is even more effective than a handjob. I know there was an incident with Sigil!Mello giving head to Rod in a movie theatre. I imagine Nihil!Mello probably had a similar experience.
Since oral sex is an integral part of foreplay, Sigil!Mello does it on a regular basis?
18. If your character received oral from a female, how would your character react to receiving it from a male? If they received it from a male, how would they react if a female went down on them? Similarly, if your character has given fellatio before, how would they feel about giving cunnilingus or vice-versa? Would it be morally objectionable to them, or would it be just fine? Would there be a difference in interest for them between one kind of oral and the other?
Both are pretty natural sexual acts, and Mello wouldn`t be conflicted about either of them. He probably felt skeevy when he did it for money or favours, but that`s all. Nihil!Mello probably wouldn`t know what to do with a vagina, but he`d manage. XD
I don`t think he was great at it the first time, because honestly, nobody is, but like I said - he`s a fast learner.
19. Is your character especially skillful with their tongue? People with oral fixations [smokers, people who constantly chew on reeds or candies, etc.] tend to be naturals in this department, it seems, but not everyone is so blessed. Did your character apply a concentrated effort to be as good as they are? At the other end of the spectrum, do they really not care for giving oral at all and avoid it at all costs?
I liked to think that Mello, being the chocolate sucker he is, is very skillful. But ever since Sigil!Near`s performance, I`m convinced Near does it better, so .... he`s fine, but not the best. XD
20. Would your character spit or swallow [where situations apply] and why? Would they even allow their partner to 'play to a crescendo' while still in their mouth?
Spit. Because, really .... sperm =/= yummy. But since he`s experienced, he`d know a subtle way to get rid of it without offending his partner. ^^ Sigil!Mello definitely likes to see Near come wherever, including his mouth, though, but I think they never did that.

21. Alright, now we're ready for these questions. Does your character have a sexual position that they prefer above others? Missionary, Reverse Cowgirl, that one position where their face is pushed into the mattress and their ass is in the air as high as it can go? Named or described, this is a detail that can reveal a lot about your character's boldness and confidence or a similar lack thereof [for instance, do they avoid positions that involve eye contact or do they seek them out?]
Sigil!Mello prefers any position where him and Near are face to face, because he loves eye contact and observing him and his reactions during sex. Whether it`s on the floor, on a bed, or up against a wall doesn`t matter. He also quite likes sex in public or in risky places; so much should be obvious by now. ^^ I have no idea what Nihil!Mello prefers.
22. Does your character like it slow and gentle or fast and rough? Is there any deeper psychological reason for this preference, or do they just like it better one way or the other?
Both has its appeal. Since Mello is rash and passionate, rough sex happens more often than not, I guess. Sigil!Mello has had his most gentle sex with Matt; Near is more about deliberately teasing him until he loses his shit, whereas Matt plays more to his protective side, I think. Actually, Sigil!Mello would like to be more gentle with Near from time to time, but passion usually gets the better of him.
23. Is your character quiet about expressing themselves during the act, or are they so loud that the neighbors will call the cops? Are they relatively immobile participants that leave their partners to do most of the work or are they passionately throwing themselves into every position imaginable? Why are they that way, and is it an issue of taste or of capability for them?
I´m not sure if he`s loud, but Sigil!Mello is vocal. He likes inventive dirty talk and he likes that Near likes it, and I think his voice plays an important part in their sex life. He would rather whisper dirty little secrets than scream the house down, though.
Something tells me that Nihil!Mello would be more "Shut up!" during sex but I`m not sure. Mostly because he knows the business side better than the pleasure side.
24. It's pretty hard to maintain a balance here, though it is possible... but there's almost always an element of either selfishness or selflessness in sex. Is your character more focused on satisfying their own needs first, or on pleasuring their partner?
Um ... I`d say that Mello is all about satisfying his needs, but he wouldn`t be satisfied until his partner is reeling in ecstasy, so it`s both.
25. What does your character do pre and post-coital? Are they fans of a lot of foreplay beforehand and a lot of cuddling and one-on-one time afterwards, or are they more into getting down to business and then going to sleep?
Eat chocolate. Come on. What else.
Since Sigil!Near has the habit to fall asleep from exhaustion right after, I think Sigil!Mello usually observes him until he`s either too tired to stay awake too or gets up to do something else. He`s not a cuddler but he does like his lover to sleep in his arms.
Nihil!Mello would pull his pants up and leave. XD Seriously. Something unusual would have to happen in order for that to change.

26. And now for some of the kinkier stuff! Does your character feel particularly aroused by violence, bloodletting or the presence of deadly weapons in the foreplay or sex [guns, knives and all that they can be utilized for in the bedroom]? Is their partner [or theoretical partner in the RP setting, if they have one] a fan of this fetish, or no?
Sigil!Mello really likes the sight of blood or bruises on Near`s flawless white skin. I think there`s no kink that Sigil!Mello is NOT interested in trying with Near, but unlike earlier, he wouldn`t want to actually put him in danger or hurt him. But he did like to tie him up, so as long as it`s a game he`d be up for whatever. I think for Mello, based on his experiences, sex will always have a violent aspect, though he`d be more careful when it comes to Near. Or Matt. Nihil!Mello definitely, definitely thinks bloodied Near is hot, and choking him and scarring him absolutely moved him ... to places. Econtra!Mello got involved in very bloody lovemaking with his twin, and he loved it. Mello is a very angry person in general, so I suppose this will play into his sex life as well. And he quite loves his gun.

27. Does your character have any voyeuristic or exhibitionist tendencies? What I mean is, do they enjoy the thought of performing sexually in front of an audience or in a public place, or do they enjoy the thought of watching someone else engage in sex, either by secretly spying on them or coming right out into plain view for it?
Sigil!Mello loves the idea of being watched and/or heard, and especially by L. He is very confident and he sure has exhibitionistic tendencies. He wouldn`t mind specators at all. I don`t know why, but for some reason Sigil!Mello has been and will always be completely shameless (unless you put him in a dress XD). He even found it thrilling when the Shinigami Shidou walked in on him and Near. Though he was sort of offended that Shidou saw him giving head to Near instead of the other way around; so yes, he`s a showman. XD
Nihil!Mello wouldn`t mind anybody watching him unless he`s being humiliated or it`s with Near, in that case nobody shall EVER find out. XD
28. Would your character be open to a sexual situation involving multiple partners? Is this reflective of a certain level of intimacy and/or trust between them and their prospective partners, or just a basic matter of lust that they would have some awkward coffee over the next morning?
Sigil!Mello does entertain the idea of having both Near and Matt at the same time. Even if Near wins, these two are the most attractive people in the world to him. But he wouldn`t do it, because he respects the both of them too much; he is wary about causing even more damage than what has already been done.
Both Mellos I play have been in threesomes. They lived with Rod. What do you expect.
29. Would your character be capable of or inclined to rape anyone? Rape is most often an issue of control, not only as it is exerted over another human being but as a measure of the amount of control that even an otherwise incredibly violent character can exert over themselves.
No. Never.
I could never respect or like a rapist character, and so no character I like or respect will ever turn into one. Even in Sigil, where Mello`s and Near`s first sexual encounter was sort of brutal, Mello would have stopped if Near hadn`t said "I`m willing to follow your game."Seduction, yes, force, no.
Mello might get carried away, but he would stop before he actually rapes someone; he is way above forcing himself on somebody.
Mello is twisted, but he doesn`t have the mindset of a rapist at all; he`s a little pathetic sometimes, but not THAT pathetic.
30. Would your character be tempted by SOME FORM OF SEX that is illegal by its very nature? I mean, let's see here... that would be 'taking the jailbait' or 'getting a bit too friendly with the sheep,' for example. Would they obey these urges?
I don`t think Mello has qualms about sexual laws, but I honestly think he wouldn`t do any of the above. Even though earlier in his life, he probably wouldn`t have minded being the jailbait to L`s sexy mentor. XD Despite that, Mello still has a professional attitude so he wouldn`t do something that easily puts him in trouble or exposes him; Near being the exception. But Near is legal. Thank God. XD

31. Okay, to ease you back into the world of light, let's have a few final questions about relationships in general. Is your character the type to remain committed and monogamous, or would they be likely or capable of cheating on their significant other?
I think Sigil!Mello never dreamed about being monogamous, but he is committed to Near now. Finding someone he actually wants this much and actually cares this much about is something very rare and special to him, so he will not jeopardize it. The only two people who could tempt him would be L and Matt. But all three of them are too important to him for him to do something stupid right now.
He would sleep with Esha if it would help their case to get out of Sigil. Like I said, Mello seperates sex and love ... most of the time.
Nihil!Mello would probably not cheat once he has something that benefits him.
32. Would your character be the type to happily bounce headlong into longterm dating, engagement and marriage, or would they be more likely to have commitment anxiety and 'cold feet?' Incidentally, are they more likely to propose or to be proposed to by their partner or any prospective partners in-game?
Mello is not cut out for normal, functional relationships. XD But Sigil!Mello tries. And yes, he did experience a lot of anxiety when he realized he was falling for Near; it was unfamiliar, and he knew he was getting in head over heels.
All in all, he came to realize that caring for people is so much harder than not giving a shit, and it scares him; but he enjoys it, too. It`s the new big adventure.
33. Does your character seem like they would be a good or a bad parent? Regardless of their actual sexual situation and whether they CAN have kids in their current or prospective relationship or not, do you think that they'd be up to the task of caring for a child? Or, do they HATE the little buggers? Why do they feel that way?
Sigil!Mello would like to have a legacy and I think he would be a good, if somewhat unreliable and chaotic parent. XD However, being with Near is more important than that. Nihil!Mello would be an abysmal parent; he`s still an immature little brat himself! XD
He will probably have a young apprentice or something like that one day. Mello has grown up striving to be like L and I think he`d love to be someone`s mentor. This goes for both Sigil and Nihil Mello. I know Nihil!Mello had lots of fun teaching Little!L how to break open a lock.
34. Does your character seem like the sort to really 'settle-down' with their partner? Or are they more likely to spend the rest of their days globetrotting and living it up like they're not a day over 20?
No; both Mellos would get bored with settling down. I think for Sigil!Mello, this is a huge issue because he`s somewhat comfortable where he is now but he is terrified to stagnate. Nihil!Mello wouldn`t even dream of settling down.
So even if any of my Mellos was in a steady relationship with someone *cough* Near *cough*, he`d probably not even live with that person, but travel from hotel room to hotel room being his own master. But make every encounter worthwile. ^^
35. Would your character remain loyal to their partner unto death, or are they the type to leave a string of divorces in their wake?
Once a certain level of intensity is reached - most definitely loyal unto death. Though I have to admit - I can see Canon!Mello wreck every single relationship he`s in, but since this is Rp!Mello and I get to decide? Till death do us part. XD
