I saw this on my friendslist forever ago, and always wanted to take it. And since I don't have the attention span to do this over 30 days, I've decided to laugh in the face of death meme rules and do 10 at once for 3 days. I also tried not to ramble endlessly about my favourite TV shows and let the clips speak for themselves. So have the ULTRA FFWD VERSION of this meme!
Day 01 - A show that should have never been cancelled
Party Down (I'd put "Arrested Development", but that show had three awesome seasons that are perfect as they are. Michael Cera says that he's proud they never made a single bad episode of AD, and that will always be true!)
02 - A show that you wish more people were watching
Community [Click this, it's REALLY worth seeing!]
Yeah I know it's a cult favourite, but it's still struggling in the ratings so I definitely want more people to watch it. DON'T GET CANCELLED, SHOW!
03 - Your favorite new show (aired this TV season)
Game Of Thrones 04 - Your favorite show ever
Lost Okay, I promised not to ramble, but I can't put "Lost" without saying this: yeah, the ending (and pretty much the entire sixth season) sucks. The ending of "Lost" is like someone in a basketball game attempting an awesome slam dunk, then faceplanting and dropping the ball. It's sad. But the first five seasons of "Lost" contain some of my favourite television moments ever, and I can't NOT love it. "Lost" at its best was thrilling, exciting and unpredictable and influenced the way I see storytelling, and that's why I have to give it top spot.
05 - A show you hate
Heroes 06 - Favorite episode of your favorite TV show
Lost 3x20: The Man Behind The Curtain (Runner-up:
Walkabout)
07 - Least favorite episode of your favorite TV show
Lost 3x06: I Do I could put the finale, but it'd be too easy, so here's season two's "I Do", which contains the immortal line "I don't do Taco Night!!1!DX" and Nathan Filion.
08 - A show everyone should watch
The Wire 09 - Best scene ever
This was supposed to be the funeral scene from "Arrested Development"'s "Good Grief". When I first saw it, I nearly died. In a good way. It invloves a son performing a magic trick (illusion!) at his father's funeral while his brother is dancing in the background wearing a WWI-themed stripper outfit while their sister sits in the first row wearing a t-shirt that says "SLUT" and Europe's "The Final Countdown" blares in the background. It's absolutely crazy and one of the best things I've ever seen.
But it's also not on Youtube, so here's one of my favourite Britta Perry moments from "Community".
Community: Welcome to the Machine 10 - A show you thought you wouldn’t like but ended up loving
Cougar Town That's right, I like it so much it gets two clips. ><"
